From first look
to final file.
Each lot is a separate timed auction for a digital artwork. The listing tells you exactly which files and license the winning bidder receives.
Review the piece
Open the auction page to see its preview images, delivered file formats, license, opening bid, and closing time. Related pieces may appear together in a collection, but you bid on each piece separately.
Set your private maximum
Card bidding opens during the final five days of the auction. Enter the most you are willing to pay, read and accept the Auction Terms, and continue to Stripe. Your maximum stays private.
Stripe places a temporary hold for your maximum before the bid is admitted. A hold reserves available funds; it is not the final charge.
Let proxy bidding work
The public price rises only as much as needed to keep the highest maximum in the lead. If two bidders enter the same maximum, the earlier accepted bid leads. Your card is never captured for more than the final public price.
Watch the closing time
A successful bid during the final ten minutes extends the auction by ten minutes. This gives other bidders a fair chance to respond and continues until no accepted bid arrives in the final ten-minute window.
Winning and payment
After the auction closes, the winning bidder is charged the final public price, which may be lower than the private maximum. Losing card holds are released. Each bank controls how quickly released funds become available again.
Receive your files
The file package listed in the auction is sent to the winner’s bidding email as an attachment or download link, generally within three business days after payment is captured. The license shown on the auction page applies to that piece.
